Yellowstuff is the first in a new range of 'hybrid' brake pads that are safe and legal for use on the road worldwide, being R90 approved in the UK. The brake pads are a high friction upgrade for fast street cars and can also be used on the racetrack with proper break-in.

Yellowstuff has been EBC's flagship pad for over a decade and provides instant brake response, excellent feel and precise modulation, all while ensuring smooth and noise-free braking. In the year 2021, they were improved and thus also copper-free while complying with all new environmental regulations. The blocks are also fully shimmed, chamfered and grooved.

Yellowstuff comes with a Brake-in surface treatment to speed up break-in after installation.

With a stable coefficient of friction of 0.42µ and up to racing temperatures of 450, Yellowstuff is a very popular brake pad among kit car drivers and lighter race cars. Although they are heat treated, they require careful break-in before race use.

If you plan to use them on the track, we recommend that you use the blocks on the street for a period of time to break them in before taking to the track.
